Cock And Bull Story, by Richard Crowe & Richard Zajdlic
Citadel Youth Centre, Leith, July 2011
New Town Theatre, Edinburgh Fringe, 4 – 28 August 2011
Travis, an up-and-coming amateur boxer is on the verge of the big time. Jacko is his coach and best friend. As they prepare for the fight that will take them from nowhere to the somewhere of unlimited booze and women, the homophobic Jacko discovers something that threatens to destroy their friendship.
In this new production directed by Liam Rudden, the world of Rocky collides with the raw energy of Shameless in a two-hander that never pulls its punches.

★★★★ “… great fun and also heartbreaking.” – ScotsGay
★★★★ “Scarily violent, Cock And Bull story pulls no punches in the latter half of its running time and is a grisly portrayal of a friendship on a knife edge.” – The Scotsman
